Staff: Elise Lawson

Elise Lawson is an administrative professional with three years of experience working at nonprofit organizations. An Ohio native, she graduated from Ohio State University in 2020 with a Bachelor’s degree in Arts Management.

After graduating, she moved to New York and started her nonprofit professional career. As a Community Engagement Manager, she focused on building up and marketing public programming while also working alongside Development to plan and execute special events.

She joined the Friends team in 2023 as a Development Coordinator, and has since moved into the role of Marketing & Events Manager. She is excited to have the opportunity to increase visibility for Friends of the Children New York and get the word out about the positive impact the organization continues to have on our Achievers and the community as a whole.
